Hello,
I am Srikar Madhira and I am conducting a survey to identify the applicability of agile practices in software organizations. This survey is a part of a Master Thesis conducted at Blekinge Institute of Technology. The research intends to identify the requirements/changes that are needed for implementing/adopting agile practices, the challenges faced during their implementation/adoption and the solutions for those challenges.
Kindly help me in my research by participating in this survey. Please participate in this survey and share your knowledge on agile to the body of software practitioners, help them in understanding agile practices in a better way. I request you to kindly forward the questionnaire link to members of your software groups and encourage them to participate as well. The Link to the survey is provided below

The survey is anonymous and your responses are kept strictly confidential. Thank you very much in advance for your participation and time.

Regards,
Phani Srikara Sastry Madhira

Hello all

I strongly recommend that you do not reply to this survey.

The majority of the 'questions' are not about Agile but practices from
specific named frameworks; many of the questions are based on mis-conceived
premises ie is 40 hour week important - No - the question should be about
consistent maintainable pace (from Agile Principles). If you don't do '40
hour week' but do 'sustainable pace', how do you answer this question? Any
answer would be misleading.

Some of the questions don't make any sense at all.

Any analysis results from this survey would be highly questionable and could
potentially damage the Agile Movement.

Thanks for the head's up Steve. The survey, while likely very well intentioned, does seem to try to apply a cookie cutter approach to an Agile transformation experience -- so trying to apply a Cynefin "simple/complicated" approach to a  Cynefin "complex" domain.
Please Group the following Requirements/Changes to the respective levels: Organizational (Structural Changes and Changes that involve Top level Management), Managerial (Changes involving the Management) and Staff/People (Changes pertaining to the people or staff)
| Organizational | Managerial | Staff/ People | Don't Know |

"Emphasis on team work rather than individuals"
And the you only get to pick one of the above 4 "levels".  I would pick all "levels", but that's not possible in the survey.
